Fat-Fool Your Body With Fat

By Bryon Zirker

Before you hit the table for a meal try eating
a little healthy fat first. This can go a long
way to prevent you from overindulging yourself
and adding more fat.

Why? Eating good fat will stimulate production
of cholecystokinin (CCK) a hormone which tells
your brain when its time to quit eating. This
hormone does something else too. It keeps you
full by slowing the speed at which your stomach
processes the food. Less fat is good right?

For the benefits, you do not need a lot. About
70 calories of healthy fat will do the trick.

That's the equivalent of 2 Brazil nuts, 3 walnuts,
7 pecans, 8 hazelnuts, 8 cashews, 10 almonds, or
20 peanuts.

Add some of your favorite nuts to you pantry
and keep it stocked. You will have available
healthy fats which will go a long way towards
helping you avoid overindulging, get your fat
content down and keep it down.
